Summer is upon us, and it’s time for you to step up and show your Wololo spirit in our monthly contest.
But first, the winners from last month! Everyone slips up from time to time, but some mistakes are more costly than others. We asked you to show us what happens when the Age characters forget to bring along something important. As always, we had a bunch of awesome entries, but we had to narrow it down to our five favorites. Below are this month’s winners!

This month’s contest: The Age of Empires franchise spans thousands of years, and technology advances throughout! It’s said “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic,” so we want to know what technology would impress people of the past? What would someone in the Dark Age think of technology from the Fortress Age? What would Joan of Arc show to Arkantos?
Your entry must include an image from an Age of Empires game (or an illustration having to do with one). You may also include a written portion explaining your entry that may be no more than 800 characters in length (not including spaces).
We’ll pick our five favorites, and the winners will each be able to choose two of the below prizes! Submissions must be appropriate and related to Age of Empires in some way, and must be submitted in the forum discussion thread linked below before 11:59 PM PDT on June 29, 2016.
